A Health and Safety tip around decking

Use the underside of a deck board when laying them yourselves, the reason why deck boards are classed as too dangerous and people slip on them, is the fact that water and algae fill the gaps of traditional deck boards and when not treated can become dangerous as there is less grip under your foot.  However if you turn the board over you have a large flat surface to place your foot on and nowhere for water and algae to rest to become slippery.
